Karen has worked for 40 years as a credentialed educator and therapist in the United States, Canada, and Costa Rica. She is board-certified by the American Reflexology Certification Board, and has been recognized by the Reflexology Association of America as Educator of the Year, and given Lifetime Achievement Awards for her role as an inspiring educator and leader. She is a lifetime learner. In addition to serving as a personal mentor and coach to dozens of people, she is writing her second book and teaching herself to play the piano.
A native English speaker, she personally understands the difficulties of learning another language as an adult, as she is currently learning to speak Spanish. It has been her experience studying another language that sparked her desire to help others achieve their goal of speaking a second language.
